What the brief tool does
The pilot-brief tool holds entered information in the current page’s memory. It does not submit the fields to the institute, email them, or save them in a research database. Refreshing or closing the page discards the draft. Downloading the brief creates a text file on your device.
Use only non-sensitive descriptions. Keep confidential, classified, export-controlled, embargoed, and personally sensitive research materials out of this preparation tool and public intake. Scientific evidence is accessed only after written scoping, appropriate permissions, and an approved handling route.
The official application
The “Open the official application” link takes you to the accelerator’s own website. It does not transfer your draft automatically. Submit your non-sensitive summary there under its current terms and privacy notice. The institute’s manual process determines eligibility and the agreed scope.

Evidence, release, and access
A pilot service order identifies the authorized actors, sources, tools, retention and release boundaries. Native research records may remain under laboratory custody. Public claims require the approved release scope and supporting evidence; preparing a brief grants no research access or experimental authority.
This website serves public capability descriptions, educational diagrams, fonts, and brand assets. Hosting and sign-in can create operational records under the hosting platform’s policies. External public references operate under their own access controls and policies.
Accessible scientific exploration
The site supports keyboard navigation, visible focus, a skip-to-content link, labeled form fields, semantic tables, reduced-motion preferences, and responsive layouts. Interactive evidence nodes can be selected with Enter or Space; left and right arrow keys move between nodes. Each visual has a textual explanation or numerical readout.
Service pages provide text descriptions of capabilities, general input categories, deliverable summaries, and scientific assurance. The locally prepared pilot brief remains available as a text download.
Scientific and program status
The 90-day cohort, six-laboratory capacity, and hours are proposed planning arrangements. Installed tools, staffing, funding, and actual execution are confirmed per engagement. Illustrative models contain no laboratory data. No DARPA affiliation, endorsement, or certification is implied.
